Il mio ragazzo mi ha detto che dovevo mettere dei particolari ingranditi di questo lavoro, perchè nell'altro formato non si vedeva quando fosse fatto bene :P e così ecco a voi qualche particolare :D

Saint Sophie

Santa Sofia: protettrice dell'intelletto

Fu prima Fustigata e Marchiata a Fuoco sulla fronte con il simbolo dell' infamia e poi giustiziata il 30 settembre; quasi due mesi dopo le sue 3 figlie: Pistit(fede) Agapis(carità) ed Elpis(speranza) che invece furono decapitate il 1 agosto.
Nell'iconografia vediamo Santa Sofia prevalere in aspetto materno che proteggere le 3 figlie sotto il suo mantello.
Altra particolarità è la corona che cinge il capo della madre e delle figlie. Semplice ma regale quella di santa Sofia e con triplice tiara sul capo delle figlie, anticolo simbolo di virtù verginale e di particolare gloria.

Saint Sophie: Sancta Sapientia

She was been lash and branded by fire on the forehead with the Infamy Symbol, and she was execute almost 2 month after her 3 daughters, in the 30th September: Pistit(Faith) - Agapis(Charity) and Elpis(Hope) that they were beheaded in the 1st August.

Saint Sophie in the iconography is represent in maternal's appearance, and she protects her 3 daughters under the cloak.

Other particular is the crown on her head and the crowns on the daughters head: simple and regal for Sophie - triple tiara for the daughters. Ancient symbol of virginal's virtue and glory.

Making of...

Originariamente nello sketch, le avevo fatto i capelli corti e ua corona diversa: ma poi, durante l'inchistrazione non mi piaceva molto, perdeva qualcosa rispetto allo sketch iniziale. Quindi ho optato per un'accociatura alla Maria Antonietta e una corna un pò più delicata.

In the beginning this sketch have different particulars rispect to the final version. I made her with short hair and with different crown. But while I was inking I did not like what I was doing. So, I have change it in Marie Antoniette hairstyle with a soft crown.

Buongiorno a tutti!
Eccomi di nuovo tornata con un altra novità, che però risale ad un pò di tempo fà; ma che ancora non avevo postato.
Qui ho dato un mio contributo all'ideazione di alcuni Character Design di Antichi Romani in versione Robot :D E' stato davvero interessante lavorare su qualcosa che in parte mi appartiene ( e appartiene a tutti i miei concittadini :P). Che ne dite?

I'm come back again with other new! It's a old commission that I haven't posted. Here, I did my contribute for some Character Design about Ancient Roman in Robots version. It's was fun working on to belong me somethings (and to my countryman too). What do you think?

Oltre a buone nuove, ho anche starnuti copiosi che mi fanno consumare quantità industriali di fazzoletti...non ho ancora capito la causa. Dire "allergia" è troppo generico -_- Anche perchè sono sintomi che muoiono a metà giornata...mah!
Beh ora me ne torno a lavorare :D

In addiction to this new, I sneezing to much and consume many handkerchiefs!! I don't think is an allergy. It's generic say "allergy"!

Questa è un lavoro su commissione per la copertina di un CD di musica Techno. Mi hanno chiesto di evitare elementi moderni o tecnologici, ma di lavorare su un tema onirico e con soggetti femminili più adulti.

Ed ecco a voi il risultato :D

La Madonna del Rumore.
Mi piaceva come idea, considerando il genere musicale che ascolto di frequente..ehehehe. Comunque, ho fatto una ricerca approfodita su varie raffigurazioni religiose (più o meno famose). E le ho trovate davvero interessanti non solo per quello che rappresentano, ma perchè le ho trovate al quanto grottesche: come se fluttuassero in piano etereo a se stante. E' questo quello che mi trasmettono. Ma questo è l'unico fascino che riescono ad esercitare su di me...quello artistico.

Anche questa, come il mio ultimo lavoro, l'ho pensata per dei poster :) devo dire che si presta molto.

I liked this idea, for the music genre that i hear to much...ehehhe
Anyway, I did with different religious suggestions (most famous and not). And they have some grotesque aspects, if as float in other dimension.
But It's my only interest: the artistically aspect.

As the last work: I thought it for a poster and it's cool for this solution.
